Jane was recommended to us by a friend and tutored my son for his 11+ exam. Jane creates an extremely calm and welcoming environment for learning. She tailored his lessons well with variation and was happy to spend time going over things in more depth if there were any areas of uncertainty. This along with her encouragement in his abilities helped my son gain confidence ready for the exam which he successfully passed. Jane has taught our 11 year old twins science remotely over the lockdown period 2020/21. They have both really enjoyed their lessons and Jane’s professional but fun approach has definitely bought results, as shown by their back to school reports. Jane also teaches our daughters of 7 and 11 piano. They learn via Skype which is hugely convenient and hasn’t hampered their learning. Jane has been the best tutor and music teacher for our daughter. Jane is motivating and enthusiastic, all the lessons are prepared in advance and the required files sent by email.
